Calvin Klein founded the Calvin Klein Limited brand in 1968 and opened a coat shop in New York. A year later, he appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine and subsequently expanded the women's collection with sports fashion, classic jackets and underwear. In 1979, young actress Brooke Shields appeared on scandalous posters dressed in one piece - Calvin Klein jeans. Several world-famous designers created collections for the fashion house, such as Italo Zucchelli, Jil Sander, Romeo Gigli and currently also Francisco Costa. Calvin Klein underwear was made famous by model Kate Moss and actor Mark Wahlberg, once known as rapper Marky Mark.
